The residence is located in a large two-storey flat, with well-defined private areas. The upper floor is reserved for the residents and includes a bedroom, a private bathroom, a workspace and an ‘interspace’ furnished with a sofa. It also has direct access to a large terrace that can also be used as an outdoor workspace. This area is shared by the flat's residents.
On the lower floor there is a large living room and an open-plan kitchen, which also serve as common areas. Another private area leads to the bedrooms and bathroom of the permanent residents. With the curator living on site, this provides an opportunity for regular exchanges and convivial moments, where arriving in a city of several million inhabitants can sometimes be destabilising and isolating.
Located in a very central and lively area, the accommodation is nevertheless very quiet. The surrounding noises are mainly those of the animals in the neighbourhood (cats, birds, roosters (!)) and of the boats transiting on the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. An unobstructed view of the horizon encourages you to meditate and broaden your own perspective.

The stay can be planned for periods ranging from 1 week to 3 months, depending on availability. All residents will be given logistical information and details of places to visit, restaurants and other necessities on site.
If required, a specific program can be prepared in advance with the curator. In this case, remote sessions will be necessary and the curator will be able to work on site before the resident's arrival to ensure an efficient stay.

Two different options are offered:
- A stay of immersion or inspiration in which the resident does not need curatorial support, networking or guidance in their project. The aim is to find a comfortable and accessible place in the centre of Istanbul that is conducive to reflection and research.
270 € per week
1060 € per month
- A stay applied to a specific project that may need support and networking on the ground. This could involve help with fundraising, the organisation of specific meetings, thematic suggestions or participation in other projects or exhibitions. Curatorial work will be provided before and during the resident's stay.
Send us your project and your requirements and we'll get in touch with you for more information.
